Louis Vuitton: Malesherbes Kelly Bag - Yellow Epi Leather

I loved and treasured the Louis Vuitton brand before I discovered Chanel. Malesherbes Bags were at one time my HGs- the ultimate! I adored feminine, Kelly-shaped bags (I love carrying them in my hand instead of my shoulder). Yes, I thought of the lovely Princess Grace Kelly each time I bought one or saw one.  I searched high and low for certain colors.  This was made in a gorgeous shade of yellow epi leather.

Oooh, my beloved and super-expensive (for its time) Louis Vuitton Malesherbes bag in Black Epi leather.  So cute, but I could only show it off during special parties and events.  If only LV would make a bigger version (double the size maybe?) of this lovely Kelly-style bag.  Pictured with my LV Murakami bandana/scarf.

What a cutie-pie! Another Takashi Murakami & Louis Vuitton collaboration. I was encouraged to color this little fellow, but he's adorable just as he is. What a great, decorative, yet functional key chain or key charm. Purchased from the Louis Vuitton counter at my beloved Marshall Field's (now Macy's). Of course, LV eventually moved out and established their own store at the same shopping mall. BTW, I purchased 2 of these - back in the day when I could do so with impunity. Ha!!
