Yves Saint Laurent: Crest Hobo Bag w/ Deer Horn
One of the most beautiful bags I've ever owned! We happened to be downtown when NM was having a pre-sale; and it was the only one of its kind. Perfect, off-white YSL lambskin bag. Great size. The crest is made of pewter-like material. The horn is real, naturally-shed deer horn; hefty and adjustable. It felt great in my hand. Overall, simple in design, with just-enough of the right detail where it matters most. Much, much better IRL. Yves Saint Laurent is one of the best bag-makers in the world, IMO.

Louis Vuitton: Tapage Keychain or Key Charm or Key Holder
A large, attention-grabbing Louis Vuitton keychain. Another of my purchases from the free-standing LV store in Oakbrook. Be sure to enlarge the pictures. Love it!

Louis Vuittton: Lost (and Found) Mott and Club Bags
Before Photobucket, I had used another site to store my photos. This was in the early days of my collection, when I was a bit careless and still young and innocent to the ways of the world & collecting (*smirk*). I allowed their beautiful pictures to disappear into cyber space, never to be seen again. Anyway, I scanned my for-insurance-purposes-only photos of a couple of the bags: (a) LV Mott bag in Pink, and (b) LV Club bag in Noir. The Club is long-ago discontinued, the Mott may still be made, but not in this shade of pink. Both are long gone. Each was much more glorious, and beautiful IRL. Also in this entry, are a couple of old Vogue Magazine pictures of the Louis Vuitton Club. Click on photos for more detail. Sorry for the bad-quality of the pictures of my bags.

Chanel: Vintage Bag in Patent Leather
Chanel's vintage bags are the best! This was "old" yet remained in excellent condition. The snap closure was as tight as ever. The HW finish was bright. The patent leather unblemished. Look at that pretty, gold-toned strap (pictured with my fave Christmas ornament imprinted with a favorite motto, LOL).

Louis Vuitton: Sac Mary Kate Bag
I ♥ LOVE ♥ this Louis Vuitton bag. I think the LV Sac Mary Kate is a superb bag. It was the last one available on eLuxury in this color. Of course, I had to have it. Roomy, and it's not the usual LV monogram. Instead, LV uses their( discontinued ) Mini Monogram. It's got a front pocket, plus slip pockets on either side of the exterior. I had room for all of my junk without having to open the bag! Did I mention how much I love this bag?! It's a winner, IMO. Watch out for worn-out straps if you happen to purchase a previously-owned bag in the same style. Of course, it goes without saying to watch out for the fakes also.

Bottega Veneta: Medium Veneta Bag
This beautiful Medium Veneta Bag in Yellow Apricot was from NM. The weaving was fantastic, as usual. This time, Bottega Veneta had the added feature of clipping the leather strips for even more flexibility and slouchiness. I don't think they've done this since.

Chanel: Hand Mirror plus Case
Second, this was purchased by me from the Chanel make-up counter. A simple Chanel Mirror with box and dustbag, to complete your Chanel collection. This is totally Authentic, but guess what --- it was made in China!
