Aaaaamazing!

This is a special treat for all. His name is John-Paul. I  met him last Sunday at a recital (he played Hungarian composer Franz Liszt's piece below). He hales  from a musical family, and he's a phenomenal Piano player at only 16 years of age. He is also Pinoy like me (his Mom is Filipina).   Mabuhay ang ♥ Pilipinas!

... and listen to a delightful interruption to our regularly-scheduled programming, lol --- Here is our oldest son, playing his last Piano recital piece as a high-schooler: Claude Debussy's Suite Bergamasque (mvmt 4), Passepied.  He is capable of harder pieces, thank God, but he and his teacher chose this beautiful Debussy movement. Sorry for the awful lighting.

Hip Hip Hooray!

Good golly, miss Molly, she did it! May I interrupt our regularly-scheduled post to announce that our daughter, JR,  won First Place, Senior Division, during her Music School's Preparatory Music Competition.  Four years ago, she also won First Place for the Junior Division.  Praise God from whom all blessing flow!!
